MINORS in FOREIGN LANGUAGES and Literatures

CHINESE Minor

A minor in Chinese through the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures consists of 15 semester hours at the 2000 level or above including CHN 2001 and CHN 2003.  A minor in Chinese with a major in International Business requires CHN 200, 2003, 2005, 2010 and 3090.

FRENCH Minor

A French minor requires 15 semester hours including 2005, 2010, 2035 and 6 semester hours of electives in the major field at the 2000 level or above, excluding 3520.  A minor in French with a major in International Business requires FRE 2005, 2010, 2035, 3095 and Culture and Civilization.

GERMAN Minor

A German minor consists of 15 semester hours including German 2010 and 2015 and 9 semester hours of electives in German on the 2000 level or above, excluding 3520.  A minor in German with a major in International Business requires GER 2010, 2015, 3090 and Culture and Civilization and one elective at the 2000 level or above. 

 
SPANISH Minor

A Spanish minor consists of 15 semester hours including 2005 and 2010 and 9 semester hours of electives in the major field at the 2000 level or above, excluding 3520.  A minor in Spanish with a major in International Business requires SNH 2005, 2010, 4090, Culture and Civilization, and one elective at the 2000 level or above.
 

TESL Minor

A TESL minor consists of 18 semester hours of required course work as follows: FL 2050, 3010,3020, 4550, 4551, & 4555.
